Free your mind

Happy New Year!! With it being such a lazy & cold day today, I kept this look pretty easy and basic. Threw on basic t-shirt, army button down shirt that I have worn a thousand times, and parring boots with leggings as per usual. These leggings are pretty cool, I love to wear them because their super comfy but with the matte leather strip on the side makes them look kinda dressy too. Also, I'm absolutely smitten with my maroon boots. They are way more versatile than what I thought and so comfortable to walk in. Oh, can't forget my favorite essential to end all my looks, accessorizing...oh how I adore cross-body purses! They are just awesome to add any flare to any ensemble...I'm so head over heels for them!...Anyway, that's another post for another day. Have a lovely day!

Starry Nights

Layers on layers...one of my totally fab things to do when piecing an outfit. This satin embroidered jacket has a little story behind it. I scored this vintage number in this lovely boutique during a summer in San Francisco a few years ago. It was a really beautiful warm day so I was pretty resistant on buying it since I couldn't wear it instantly. Well, as I kept going back in forth in my mind on getting it or not, I finally gave in, and well, what do you know! I'm totally smitten with it til this day.
I want to wear it in so many styles. This time I channeled a retro 70s look with a crop sweater, ripped flares, and some layered necklaces. Thanks for stopping by guys, hope your having an awesome day! I will share more of my wintry outfits soon ^_^!

They'll try to trick you...

Today's post is short and sweet. This look is pretty straightforward...black pants with metallic strip on the sides, sequin tank, suede fringe jacket, and floppy hat to add a touch of accessory. I have been wearing this suede fringe jacket as long as I can remember since my high school days...lets just sat its pretty vintage, Ha! I'm just absolutely smitten with it, I can pair it with just about any ensemble to ripped jeans to a boho swing dress. I plan to start doing more posts on how to piece different outfits for one single piece, which I can show the different outfits on how I would wear them. Either way, I'm back with more outfits I can't wait to share, so I will posting way more often. Hope you have an awesome Monday, Catch you later!

Zombie Apocalypse

Happy post Halloween guys. Yesterday's festivities was super awesome, and my costume made it much more so. I can honestly say, this is perhaps one of my favorite costume looks thus far, I am absolute smitten of how my makeup turn out, my makeup skill are enhancing, ha! The end result was fantastic....frighting, but cute.

I have always loved the creepy, spooky, eerie but gruesome looks of Halloween, the more gory the better! I tried to channel a girl scout/school girl zombie costume. Starting with this green multi-pleated vintage I scored from one o f my favorite consignment shops. I added a white button-up collar blouse and red suspenders to give it that school girl vibe. To top the whole ensemble...blood, blood, blood, and more blood, the more splatters and smears the better.

Anyways, I hope you guys had an awesome and frightful Halloween as did I. See you later!

Halloween Fun....

Hello World, I  know I have been missing in action for the past months...I have been super busy with transitioning jobs and what not and amgonst other things...but I'm back in full effect.

So tonight's post is short and sweet....or should I say sweet and scary. My practice run of my makeup for my costume of a school girl zombie was easier than it looks, I actually had a lot of fun with it.

All you need is liquid latex, foundation/ Eye conclealer of your skin tone, dark eyeshadow palette, costume makeup, lipstick, mascara or eyelashes, and fake blood along with bloodied clothing.

I will be in full costume effect on Halloween  so you can see the whole ensemble along with my colored Halloween contact lenses.

Hope everyone has a great Halloween scare! See you guys later!

Ripped To the Core...90-Day Body Fitness Challenge

In preparation of the new year, I decided to do a 90-day body fitness program consisting of lots of lean muscle intake. I decided to challenge myself with doing something new, advanced to stimulate and build my tolerance to push myself to the core. My usual workout would consist of cardio, not that its anything wrong with cardio it does assist in weight loss, but my main focus is to be lean and toned with the help of weight training. Also, by most importantly incorporating a healthy amount of carbs into my diet, muscles need to be fueled. In just 90 days I plan to transform my body to look the best it's ever have in my life.
A wonderful intake of this challenge is that I have the fun and opportunity to share my journey, and to encourage others. Stayed tuned-in of my fitness journey. Happy Vibes....ripped to the core!
